POSTING POLICY

Please review the ReUseAZ Posting Policy before posting items.

1. ReUseAZ operates as a marketplace for businesses and organizations to facilitate the exchange of reusable and recyclable materials and items. ReUseAZ does not participate in any exchange in any way.

2. Site users who are interested in your posted item may contact you directly at the email you select. If you wish your personal or business email to remain private, you may, as an alternative, set up an email account specifically for the purpose of this site (for example, set up a free "yahoo.com" email that you will use only for this site).

3. We will NOT publish your telephone number in your posting nor provide it to users; however, we request that you provide us with a number in case we need to contact you regarding your posting. For more information see the Privacy Policy.

4. ReUseAZ reserves the right to edit or clarify any posting. ReUseAZ reserves the right to reject any posting that is not appropriate for the site, or for any reason, at our discretion.

5. Please respond promptly to email responses to your posting, as a courtesy to site users.

6. Please notify us when the listing is no longer valid so we may remove it.

7. Please take a minute to report any successful exchange to us. This information is used to document the success of our waste reduction efforts and helps us to justify continuation of this program.

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS

Some materials are not appropriate for the exchange. These include automobiles, food and food wastes, firearms, ammunition, and explosive materials. Materials that are "hazardous wastes" are not permitted (however, see section below). This is not a complete list of excluded materials, and ReUseAZ reserves the right to exclude other materials.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

ReUseAZ does not accept listings for hazardous wastes. ReUseAZ users assume full responsibility for knowing what materials constitute a hazardous waste and what legal limitations and restrictions may exist on the exchange and transportation of any listed material.

A hazardous substance or material which is packaged in its original, unexpired, unopened container and made available for its original intended purpose may be acceptable for listing on the exchange.

Spray paints, paint cans, and similar retail products will be allowed on the exchange. Contact us if you have any specific questions regarding acceptability of materials for posting. ReUseAZ reserves the right to decide what is or is not appropriate for listing on the website.

MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS

ReUseAZ is not a medium for businesses or individuals to advertise products for sale. Other outlets exist for that purpose. Only materials that would otherwise be destined for disposal are acceptable for listing on the exchange.
