PRIVACY POLICY

VIEWER PRIVACY

Site users may view ReUseAZ.org without first providing personal information. By not requiring registration, users may immediately view postings and find materials available or wanted.

RESPONDER PRIVACY

A user may respond to any posting without providing private information to ReUseAZ. However, the response will take the form on an email addressed to the POSTER, with the users' email return address. If you choose to respond to a posting, you are voluntarily providing the poster with your email. Any additional information you choose to include in your reply to the poster is between you and the poster. ReUseAZ recommends you use reasonable precautions when initiating an exchange between yourself and a poster, just as you would take precautions when initiating a relationship with anyone on the internet you do not know.

POSTER PRIVACY

Some private contact information must be provided before ReUseAZ may authorize a material POSTING. This information may be used if ReUseAZ needs to contact the poster. ReUseAZ may contact the poster if there are questions or problems with the posting information or with an attached photograph. ReUseAZ may also, at its discretion, choose to survey posters to determine if a successful transaction has taken place. Answering any survey is entirely optional to the poster, but is encouraged because it allows us to document successful transactions and helps justify further support for the program. (This helps keep the service available to you at zero cost!)

The personal information required includes:

Name

Business or Organization name, if applicable

Phone Number

Your name, business or organization name, and phone number will NOT be listed on the site and will NOT be provided to any user.

However, your email address WILL be provided to users who respond to your posting.

IF you have privacy concerns regarding your email address, it is recommended that you do not use your personal or business email address. Instead, use an email address that does not contain private information and that you may discard if needed. For example, set up a free email account at a site such as "yahoo.com" specifically for the purpose of these transactions, and check that email box only when you are expecting replies.

ReUseAZ may and will collect data for the purpose of grant reporting on the success of this program, however, personal data that identifies individuals or businesses will not be included in publicly available grant reports.
